In early 1993, Darryl Dote & Victor Wheeler began a small DJ company out of a garage in Lakewood, California. Armed with two household turntables, a couple of cassette decks, and an assortment of records and tapes, word quickly spread around town that these two had a special gift -- a passion for music and the power it has to make get-togethers great.

Over fiften years-- and countless cotillions, weddings, quincineras, and corporate gatherings -- later, the equipment and locations may have changed, but the dedication and philosophy hasn't. In 2008, Darryl moved the DJ system to Fresno, California and rebranded the business as Mobile Music DJ Productions, where our most recent clients include Wild Water Adventure Park in Clovis.

At Mobile Music DJ Productions, we believe it's not enough to just have a large music database -- we need to know the music, whether it be the latest hit on the radio or an old standard by the Benny Goodman Orchestra. It's why we get to know you, our client, before we take on any job, and why we spend several hours before your event, making sure that we are properly equipped to make sure your event is the best possible.
